Kakopetria-Troodos Linear 11KM

This was a tough walk, it was pretty much all up hill following the river valley up to the army camp. The route joined the Atalanta trail then headed into Troodos. Only part of the last section on the Atalanta trail was not up hill. The route started on wide tracks and then migrated to goat tracks and there was a requirement to cross streams and navigate around rocks and boulders. The terrain took its toll on my energy levels, but I took fruit with me as usual. Black grapes being my favourite and some figs. Yum!!
