This walk had lovely scenery and three churches, bell towers, and campsite to see on the way around. Along with cows, goats and distant caves in the hillsides
The route was a mix of concrete road and wide tracks. the first two thirds or so was easy going physically for me. Flat or down hill with some loose surfaces on the down hill sections in particular. However this changed drastically during the later stages of the walk.
The latter part of the walking route contained some very steep gradients. Going up to, and around Peristerona and also over a KM up hill after Peristerona while climbing up to Lysos. The last 1.5 KM was up hill. my fitness level is very good so I could cope with the steep climbs.
