This was quite a tough walk, we went from 995 metres above sea level to 1613 metres in just under 8KM.
There was a mixture of wide and narrow tracks, with the usual rocks and loose surface you get in Cyprus. The return leg after the watch tower (which is the Third highest point on Cyprus) undulates, so it wasn't all down hill.
I preferred the latter 5.5KM as there were more trees, vegetation and shade
