Platy Valley Linear 15KM Walk

This walk is reletively flat, the gradient is very shallow. The track is wide and follows the river. The surface is tarmac for the early part of the walk transitioning to a vehicular rough track.
Occasional landrovers laden with tourists pass by and there are two fresh water points along the route

Our turn around point was a picnic area with picnic tables by the river. Though I could have made this walk as long or as short as I liked.

There is a vast amount of wildlife along this route at various times of the year. Autumn and Spring being the best seasons.
