Orpheus Village 8KM Circular

This was a fairly easy walk, with a couple of short inclines. Lovely scenery and animals along the way. The track to the start point was a bit rough but was ok for my old 4x4 HRV.
We walked around 100m up hill at the begging before branching off to the left through the forest. It was flat through the forest and the route took us to the edge of the hillside where we could see panoramic views of the secret valley. The trail then headed away from the valley edge and skimed by a goat farm. Then it headed off across the hill top, again it continued to be flat. Eventually the route brought us to a pig farm with piglets running around and then headed off and down to where it met a wide track. We turned right here and walked for approximately 100m and then turned left. We then headed up hill and turned right at the top by the big old olive tree. We walked over the top of the hill and down the other side. We then went right before the goat farm and the trail took us back down to the start. We could see the church in the distance.
There was a point at which I could have cut the walk short if required, when we reached the main track after the mobile cell site. If we had stayed on this track rather than turning off to the left it would have returned us to the start past the stables.
